It all started in a pizza house in Hongdae, Seoul, South Korea.
I had always dreamed of starting my own exhibition crew—a group dedicated to providing young artists with as many opportunities as possible to showcase their work to the world. After gathering three other students from different schools, we finally had the chance to make this dream a reality.
For our first phase, the exhibition was focused on young Korean artists and their experiences with the cultural diaspora. We planned to hold an opening reception at 212 Gallery in Chelsea, MA, on April 27th, with the exhibition running until the 28th. Unfortunately, the building where the event was scheduled to take place suffered an unexpected collapse, rendering the venue unsafe and inaccessible. As a result, the event was postponed, and we needed to quickly find an alternative solution.
Our solution was to transition to a virtual online exhibition.
"Point A to Point B: Triptych of Transformation" was finally launched on August 29th at 10 AM EST and will be archived on October 1st.
